Configure MIME Types

cPanel shared hosting accounts offer a built-in MIME type tool.

To Change Your cPanel Shared Hosting Account's MIME Types

1. Log in to your GoWebsite account.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
4. In the Advanced section, click MIME Types.
5. Enter the MIME Type and Extension you want to use, and then click Add.
   
   For example, CGI is configured like this:
   • MIME Type — application/cgi
   • Extension — .cgi
