Enabling ASP.NET 4.0 on Your Windows Hosting Account

If your account uses IIS7, you can enable ASP.NET 4.0/4.5 on your Windows® Web Hosting account during or after account set up.

NOTE: ASP.NET 4.0/4.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.5/3.0 and 2.0.

To Enable ASP.NET 4.0/4.5 on Your Existing Hosting Account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Programming Languages icon.
  5. Select ASP.NET 4.0/4.5.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Update.
