Hosting Account Administrator Permissions

If you want to give someone access to your hosting account, but do not want them to access your GoWebsite customer account, you can assign them as a Hosting Account Administrator.

This feature applies only to hosting accounts. For domain name administration, see Managing Domain Name Account Administrators.

To control the level of access they have, you can assign the following permissions to the administrator:

Administrative

  • Account Login
  • Password Vault

Infrastructure

  • Sub Domains
  • Aliased Domains
  • Domain Management
  • FrontPage Extensions
  • 404 Error Behavior
  • Change Domain Name
  • Manage FTP Users
  • Error Logs
  • SSH

  • Form Mail
  • Add On Languages
  • CGI Admin
  • Cron Manager
  • Sitemaps
  • Google Web Master Tools
  • Directory Management
  • MySQL
  • Access
  • SQL Server

  • FTP Client
  • File Manager

Reporting

  • Bandwidth Usage
  • Disk Space Usage
  • Traffic Logs

You cannot assign Value Applications, DNS Manager, or SSL Certificate permissions to an Account Administrator.
