Resetting cPanel Email Passwords

There are two ways to change your cPanel email password, based on whether or not you know your current password:

Resetting cPanel Email Passwords

If you forgot the password for a cPanel email account, you must be able to log in to cPanel or the GoWebsite customer account to reset it.

To Reset cPanel Email Passwords

  1. Log in to cPanel (Shared Hosting/Server).
  2. In the Email section, click Email Accounts or Accounts.
  3. Next to the email account you want to use, click or or Change Password.
  4. Complete the on-screen fields, and then click Change Password.

Changing cPanel Email Passwords

To change your cPanel email password you must be able to log in to your account (i.e. you know your email account's current password).

To Change cPanel Email Passwords

  1. Go to http://your domain name/webmail
  2. Log in to your cPanel webmail account.
  3. Click Change Password.
  4. Complete the on-screen fields, and then click Change Password.
