Set Outlook to Prompt for a Profile

You can set Outlook to prompt you for which profile to use, on start up. You may want to use your Outlook profiles to segment your email address inboxes, or you might have multiple Exchange inboxes that can't be on the same profile.

  1. Click Start, or the Windows button.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Search for mail, and click on Mail....
  4. Click Show profiles....
  5. Select the radio button Prompt for a profile to be used
  6. Click Apply
  7. Click OK

Now each time you open Outlook, you will be prompted to select which profile to open.
