Trade a .EU Domain Without an Account Change

The process for trades (registrant contact updates) is unique for .eu domain names. EURid charges a trade fee, prior to the update, regardless of whether the domain name is changing accounts.

To Trade a .eu Domain Name Without an Account Change

• Log in to your GoWebsite account.
• Next to Domains, click Manage.

How you trade a .eu domain will depend on the view of your account.

Card View

In Card View, your account will look something like this:

1. Select the domain name you want to use, click (Settings) and select Domain Settings.
2. In the Contact Information section, click Edit.
3. Uncheck the Use for all contact types box.
4. In the Registrant section, update the registrant name and click Save.

After you pay the fee, we will send a confirmation email to the registrant contact's email address.

List View

In List View, your account will look something like this:

1. Select the domain name you want to use.
2. From the Contacts menu, select Contact Information.



3. Select the Registrant tab, update the registrant name and click OK.

After you pay the fee, we will send a confirmation email to the registrant contact's email address.
