What types of imported lists should I avoid?

You should not import lists purchased or received from a third party, such as someone with whom you share an email list. We do not accept third-party lists because:
- The recipient doesn't know who you are, which violates the Express Email Marketing® agreement, and they are likely report your email as "Spam." If this occurs, we disable your account.
- You can't prove the source and validity of these contacts. Using the list may return undeliverable email messages, and we might disable your account because of spamming.
You should only import email addresses for subscribers you have had recent contact with, and gave you direct permission to send them email.
