It is extremely crucial that I keep
my privacy on my physical abuse domains because I hope to
become a non-profit and eventually maintain information that
will help victims of domestic violence and rape. Having my
contact information public would not only be an invasion of my
privacy, but could also potentially be dangerous in my case.
Some information should and has to be sacred for if nothing
else that reason. --Webmaster physicalabuse.org

I would like to sincerely thank you
for the service you provide. As I run a website
(www.savetoby.com) that contains material which, although
entirely legal, may be objectionable to many; it has become a
necessity to protect my personal information from reaching the
hands of those that would do myself or my family harm. I could
have easily registered my domain under a false address and
identification to protect my identity, but in doing so I would
be breaking the law. DomainsByProxy solved all of these
problems by providing an inexpensive, legal and secure means
of protecting my personal information. From the threats that
they receive daily on my behalf, it is quite obvious that
their service is invaluable to those who wish to protect their
identity. My account was set up in a matter of seconds at a
more than reasonable price. Furthermore, I have had personal
contact with their knowledgeable staff on numerous occasions,
each time they responded in courteous and timely fashion. For
all of these reasons I must recommend the DBP service to
anyone who wishes to protect their identity. --SaveToby.com

My personal privacy is of extreme
importance to me. At any moment I can have anywhere from
$50,000 to $1 Million in precious stones in my possesion.
As such, the security of my family, myself, and my business
can hinge directly on my ability to keep my address a closely
guarded secret. When it was made clear to me that this was in
jeopardy without private registration I purchased it on all of
my domain names. Thank you for this invaluable service!

When we were first looking at
setting up a family website, one of our top concerns was
privacy. So when we discovered Domains By Proxy it was ideal.
Since it was a family website with pictures of our children,
we didn't want our personal information available for just
anyone to see. In today's world, privacy cannot be taken for
granted -- it must be safe-guarded and that's exactly what
Domains By Proxy does! --David B. (March 2005) |

I was registering a domain, the
content of which was sensitive. I never considered filing with
false information, realizing there are legitimate reasons why
I would be contacted -- to correct errors in the site, for
example. My family was worried about stalkers, or unstable
personalities. I owed them protection. The alternatives cost
more and took more time to set up than the few minutes it took
to setup Domains By Proxy. The choice was easy. Domains By
Proxy lets you sleep at night, knowing your address isn't
being passed around. --Bill C. (June 2003) Read

We’re less of a target to search
engines who often discriminate against professional
webmasters. With your service, Google can't tell if we own all
top 5 websites. They can only rank our site based on merit,
and competing webmasters can't report us for dominating a
particular category. It removes the politics.
Domains
By Proxy also reduces spam! Important messages still find us,
but random spam seems to pass us by. And, one of us had a
problem with an online stalker who found our phone number via
Whois and harassed us. Now our information is hidden, without
the extra expense of additional phone lines, email addresses,
etc. Overall, your service just makes us feel safe. -- Nancy

Who wants to be cyber-harassed or
bombarded with unwanted mail by people who get your phone
number and address through the www.whois.com or
www.betterwhois.com websites? The Domains by Proxy
service, which allows you to have your name and address,
COMPLETELY PRIVATE, is an invaluable service. It's great! --
