The Cisco Intercompany Media Engine Certificate does not function as a regular SSL—it cannot be used to provide secure transactions on websites. This certificate is used only to secure VoIP for business to business communications, and should not be confused with a with an SSL certificate.

To use a Cisco Intercompany Media Engine Certificate, you must have a Cisco Unified Application Server. There are no additional requirements for issuing the certificate.
The Cisco Intercompany Media Engine Certificate appears as a credit in your account after purchase and can be issued immediately.
