Accepting or Declining a Transfer to a Different Registrar

These instructions explain how to accept or decline a domain name transfer once it's authorized through your new registrar. Unless you decline the transfer, we automatically transfer the domain name within 5 days after authorization. You might speed up the transfer when you accept it using these instructions.

To Accept or Decline a Transfer to a Different Registrar

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. From the Domains menu, select Pending Transfers.
4. Select the desired domain names, and then click Accept/Decline.
5. Select Accept or Decline.

   NOTE: Declining the transfer causes the pending transfer to fail and the domain name is not transferred. Accepting the transfer might speed up the pending transfer's completion.

6. Click OK.

Note: This process is not available for .eu or .de domains.
