Add Plesk

If you purchased a Gateway Windows VPS (more info) from us before September 19, 2014, you didn't have the option to add Plesk to your server. Well, we're glad to announce you can now add Plesk to your server free of charge.

The catch is that doing this requires you to destroy and rebuild your server. So, before you can install Plesk on your server, you'll need to backup any information from the server you want to keep.

Adding Plesk to Your Gateway Server

1. Log in to your GoWebsite account.
2. Click Servers.
3. Next to the server you want to use, click Manage.
4. Click Settings.
5. Next to OS, click Change.
6. Complete the following fields, and then click Destroy and Rebuild:

   Field	What to do...
   Server name	Enter a name to refer to your server by.
   User name	Enter a user name to log in to your server.
   Password & Confirm Password	Enter a password to log in to the server.
   Data Center Region	[Coming soon] Select the location where you want to create your server.
   Operating System	Select Windows 2008 r2.
   Control Panel	Select Plesk.
