Adding a Website Protection Website Scanner Seal to a WordPress Website
After your WordPress® Website successfully passes a Website Protection Website Scanner scan, you can install the Website Scanner Website seal to show visitors that your Website is free of vulnerabilities.
You must edit the Footer code for the theme of your WordPress Website to add the Website Scanner Website seal. We recommend that you create a backup before you make changes.
See Retrieving Your Website Protection Website Scanner Seal Code for steps to retrieve your Website Scanner seal code.
To Add a Website Scanner Website Seal on a WordPress Website
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard. For example,
http://coolexample.com/wp-admin, where coolexample.com is your domain name. - In the Dashboard, click Appearance.
- Click Editor.
- In the Templates menu on the left, click Footer.
- Paste the code for your Website seal into the editor where you want it to display. Make sure it is before the </body> and </head> tags.
- Click Update File.
After you add the code to your Website, refresh your website to see the new Website seal. If the image isn't where you want it to be, or you can't see it, you might need to move the code in the footer. Refer to the WordPress Codex for more information about modifying your WordPress template.
