If you copy and paste content from a Microsoft® Word document, the pasted content might include unseen formatting information from the original document that can cause it to display incorrectly. With Website Builder®, you can remove Microsoft Word formatting from your text so that your website content is coded correctly.
To Create Clean Microsoft Word HTML
- If necessary, copy the content from your Microsoft Word document.
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page you want to add your text to.
- Click the block you want to add your text to. Blocks are outlined in blue.
- Position your cursor where you want to place the text that you copied from your word document.
- From the formatting toolbar, located at the top left corner of the page, from the Paste menu, select Paste from MS Word.
- Paste your text in the text box, and then click Paste.
