Disable Admin/Root Access (Managed or Fully Managed)

If you no longer want root access enabled on your Managed or Fully Managed Linux server, you can disable it.

  1. In the My Servers panel, next to Admin Access, click Change.
  2. Deselect Enable your admin (root and sudo) access permission.
  3. Click Save.
