Making Your Blog Private in Quick Blogcast
Prevent unwanted access to your Quick Blogcast® Website by creating a private username and password you can give to your approved visitors.
When you turn on blog privacy, visitors must enter a private username and password to log in to your Website and read your blog posts.
NOTE: Blog privacy is only available on Deluxe and Premium Quick Blogcast accounts. To upgrade your account, see Upgrading Your Quick Blogcast Account.
To Make Your Blog Private
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- In the Quick Blogcast Account list, click Launch for the account you want to modify.
- From the Manage Blog menu, select Settings.
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- For Privacy protection, select On.
- In the User name field, enter the username you want visitors to use to access your blog.
NOTE: The private username and password must be different from the username and password you use to log in to your Quick Blogcast account.
- In the Password and Confirm Password fields, enter the password visitors must use to access your blog.
- Click Save.
