Managing Payment Methods
You can add, update, or delete payment methods associated with your account in the Account Manager. You can add as many payment methods as you need in your account; however, ensure that you update your payment information to keep your payment methods current and to help avoid failed billing attempts. When necessary, you can remove payment methods that have expired or that you no longer want to use for future billing or purchases.

Adding Payment Methods
You can set up multiple payment methods for your account and each payment method can be assigned to various products and services in your account.
When your products come up for renewal, the selected payment method is used to renew your products and services if you have auto-renew enabled. For more information, see Managing Renewals for Products and Services.
To Add a Payment Method
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Go to the Payments tab.
- Click Payment Methods.
- Click Add Payment Method.
- Select either Credit/Debit/Prepaid Card, Checking Account, or Gift Card, and then click Next.
- In the Payment Details area, enter the required account details, and then click Next.
- In the Billing Information area, enter the required information, and then click Next.
- In the Review and Save area, review your account information, and then click Finish.
If you have more than one payment method, you can designate an alternate payment method to use in the event that the primary payment method does not process successfully. For more information see Designating an Alternate Payment Method.
Updating Your Payment Method Information
When your credit card information changes, such as an expiration date or billing address, you can update your information to keep your payment information current and avoid failed billing attempts.
To Update your Payment Method Information
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Go to the Payments tab.
- Click Payment Methods.
- In the Payment Methods list, use the check boxes to select the payment method you want to update, and then click Update Payment Method.
NOTE: To see renewing products associated with a particular payment method, on the Payments tab, click Product Billing. The payment method for each of your products displays in the the Payment Method column of your Product list.
- Update the Payment Details and Billing Information as needed.
- Click Save.
Removing Payment Methods
If there is a payment method listed in your account that has expired or you no longer want to use for future billing or purchases, you can remove it.
To Remove a Payment Method
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Go to the Payments tab.
- Click Payment Methods.
- In the Payment Methods list, select the payment method that you want to remove, and then click Delete.
- If there are no products or services associated with the selected payment method, select Delete.
- Optional: If there are active products or services associated with the selected payment method, do one of the following:
- Change the payment method for the selected product or service to a different, existing payment method by selecting an existing payment method from the list, and then click Delete.
- Add a new payment method to associate with the selected product or service by clicking Add a new payment method, and then enter the required information. For more information, see the Adding Payment Methods section above.
NOTE: You must have at least one active payment method in your account if you have active products or services.
