Managing Spam Settings in the Email Control Center
While junk email might be worth a laugh or two, it's not funny when it overruns your inbox. You can use the Email Control Center's features for spam management to prevent unsolicited junk email from clogging up your inbox.
To Manage Spam Settings
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Email.
- In the Email Account list, click Launch on the right-hand side next to the account you want to change.
- In the upper left, select Settings. From the drop-down, select Spam Settings.
- From the Spam Filtering options, select one of the following:
- Turn off spam filtering — Take no action on suspected spam. (Keeps existing filtering.)
- Recommended: Move to Bulk Mail Folder — Automatically route suspected spam to the Bulk Mail folder. You can review it at your convenience.
- Mark Subject With [SPAM] — Suspected spam delivers to your Inbox with [SPAM] in the subject line.
- Restricted Mode — All mail delivers to your Bulk Mail folder, unless the sender is on your Allowed List. For more information, see Blocking and Allowing Email Addresses and Domains in Workspace Email.
- From the When I mark messages as spam options, select one of the following:
- Ask me what to do
- Mark all messages from that sender in that folder
- Mark only selected messages
- Click OK.
