Moving Email Addresses from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010
Customers cannot initiate migrations from Hosted Exchange Email 2007 to Hosted Exchange Email 2010 directly. However, they can complete a manual recreation of their existing email addresses using Exchange 2010. If they want to do so, it's important to notify them of a few things:
- They will experience an interruption to their email service while their new accounts are set up. How much downtime depends on how quickly the customer can change their MX records and finish setting up their Exchange 2010 mailbox. It can take a while.
- They are responsible for backing up and exporting their currently-saved messages and contacts. Deleting their currently-in-use account completely removes their messages and contacts from our servers.
Also, to complete the manual migration from Hosted Exchange Email 2007 to Hosted Exchange Email 2010, the customer must have at least one free mailbox; this lets them create their new Hosted Exchange Email 2010 mailbox, while leaving their old Hosted Exchange Email 2007 mailbox active.
Because our Exchange 2010 accounts offer no new features for customers yet, we do not recommend they complete the move between Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 yet. We recommend customers wait until we release the automatic migration feature.

You must manually move all of your SharePoint documents from your old SharePoint Website to the new one. This means you must download all of your SharePoint Website's documentation manually.
When moving your SharePoint Website, you lose all prior versioning of your documents unless you download each individual version.
Once you have set up your new SharePoint Website, you can then recreate the folder structure of your old SharePoint Website and then upload all of your documentation.
