Quick Shopping Cart® lets you offer free shipping, which can be a great way to promote your store.
You can offer free shipping to customers who make a minimum purchase amount or to those who buy from your store during a time period you specify. You can also designate members at your store who will receive free shipping at any time.
When you do not enable shipping options, then the sub-total for the order does not include a shipping charge. This option lets you employ a business model that includes shipping in the total cost of the product. If you normally charge for shipping but want to offer free shipping as a promotional tool, you must first enable United States Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, or Custom shipping.
For more information on these shipping options, see the following articles:

If you have just enabled a shipping option, you need to publish your store before the Free Shipping link is available to you.
You can click the calendar icon to easily select specific dates. In the Select Date window, click the month and year to select a specific period, the forward/backward arrows to move one month at a time, or click a specific day, and then click Select.
When your customer makes a purchase, the final order screen displays the amount the shipping would have cost and displays the shipping charge as removed from the total order price. You can also configure a free shipping coupon where your customer must enter a coupon code that you define. For additional information on creating coupons, see Using Coupons for Website Promotion.
If you want to provide free shipping on a case-by-case basis, select a default shipping method on the Shipping page, and then select Charge for Shipping = No on the Product Editor page for the specific product.
The member must re-log in to your store for the changes to apply.
