Viewing or Changing Your PHP Language Version
Most of our hosting accounts support some version of PHP. If your account does, which version you use displays in your control panel.
To View Your PHP Version
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
Click one of the following, based on the type of hosting you have. You can tell this by the second word in your hosting's description beneath your hosting account's domain name, e.g. Deluxe Web correlates to Web/Classic (Hosting Control Panel).
Web/Classic (Hosting Control Panel)
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
In the Server section, your PHP Version displays.
NOTE: If your account does not display a PHP version, you have a Windows® account using IIS6, which does not support PHP.
To Change Your PHP Version
- From the More menu, select Programming Languages.
- Select the PHP version you want to use, and then click Continue.
- Click Update.
Linux (cPanel)
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- In the Software/Services section, click Select PHP Version.
Your Current PHP version displays.NOTE: If you want to manually select PHP modules available to your account, select 5.4 instead of native (5.4).
- To change your version, from the PHP version menu, select the version you want to use, and then click Set As Current.
Windows (Plesk)
Plesk lets you change the PHP settings on a per-domain basis. This means you have to update the settings for each domain on your account if you don't want to use Plesk's default.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
- At the bottom of the section of the domain hosting you want to use, click Show More.
Beneath PHP Settings, your PHP version displays.
You can change your PHP version by clicking Hosting Settings next to the domain name.
