Creating a Google Products Data Feed in Quick Shopping Cart

You can get more visibility to your Quick Shopping Cart® products by submitting them to Google® Product Search. Set up your Google® Merchant Center account (see Setting Up Google Product Search with Quick Shopping Cart), then configure Quick Shopping Cart to submit your products. Every time you publish your store, Quick Shopping Cart sends an updated product feed file to Google Product Search.

NOTE: Google Product Search recommends identifying products’ weights. For information about configuring products’ weights, see Working with Products in Quick Shopping Cart.

To Create a Google Products Data Feed in Quick Shopping Cart

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Quick Shopping Cart.
3. On the Quick Shopping Cart page, click Open next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.
4. From the Promote menu, in the Visibility section, click Google Product Search.
5. Click Set Up.
6. Enter the FTP Username and FTP Password that you specified in your Google Merchant Center account.
7. Enter the File Name for the data feed file you registered in your Google Merchant Center account.
8. Enter a Source Code. The code can be used to track incoming sales from the Google Products data feed and distinguish Google Products sales from other sales through your storefront.
9. In Verification Meta Tag Content, enter the verification meta tag from your Google Webmaster account. See Verify and Claim a Website URL for help obtaining your verification meta tag and verifying your URL.

   NOTE: Only copy and paste the "content" section of the code, minus the quotes. For example, if your search engine generates the meta tag:
   
   <meta name="google-site-verification" content="mIP6AbCCdEfghiJk_5KZGFIgcnf9QRStUVwXyo" />,
   
   you should copy only: mIP6AbCCdEfghiJk_5KZGFIgcnf9QRStUVwXyo.

10. Click Save.
11. Select the products you want to add to your product feed, and then click OK.

NOTE: You must publish your Quick Shopping Cart storefront for any changes to take effect.

To check if the data feed FTP was successful, check the "Last Upload Status" on the Google Product Search page in Quick Shopping Cart.
