How do I View Messages in the Qmail Queue?

You can view messages in the Qmail email queue.
To View Messages in the Email Queue
- Login to SSH, see Accessing a Linux Dedicated Server Using SSH for more information.
- Type
su -
. - Enter the root password you setup for your server.
- Once logged into SSH as root , type the following to list out all messages currently in queue:
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-qread
- To count the number of messages in the queue currently, type:
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat
- To read the entire contents of an email in queue, including headers, type:
find /var/qmail/queue -name NNNN| xargs cat | lessWhere NNNN is the ~8 digit ID specified on the /var/qmail/bin/qmail-qread command.
