Adding and Modifying Event Calendars in Website Builder
An Event Calendar allows you to display multiple calendars across your Website or even the same calendar on multiple pages. Using an Event Calendar gives all your Website visitors access to upcoming and recurring events. You can provide details for each event such as a title, location, time and description.
Adding and Removing Event Calendars
When you add an Event Calendar, you name it, specify its size, and choose how it displays.
To Add an Event Calendar in Website Builder
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- Select Launch Page Designer from the Design menu.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page you want to add the Event Calendar to.
- Click the block in which you want to insert your Event Calendar.
- Go to Insert, move your mouse over Calendar, and then select Event Calendar.
- If you already have an event calendar, do one of the following:
- Click Add event calendar to add a new event calendar.
- Click Add existing event calendar to add an existing calendar and then select the calendar you want to add from the Add existing event calendar field.
- Complete the following:
- Calendar Name
- Enter the name of your calendar. This name displays above your calendar when you publish your Website.
- Calendar Size
- Select Full Size or Compact.
- Show Calendar on website
- Select Yes or No.
- Calendar style
- Choose how you want your calendar to display.
- Click Add Event to create a new event.
- Click OK.
To Remove an Event Calendar
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, select Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page that contains the Event Calendar you want to edit.
- Move your mouse over the Event Calendar and click the red X in the upper right corner.
- Click OK.
Adding and Removing Event Calendar Events
After adding an Event Calendar, you can add and modify events at any time.
To Add an Event in Event Calendar
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, select Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page that contains the Event Calendar you want to edit.
- Double-click the Event Calendar to edit it.
- Click Add Event to create a new event.
- Complete the form for your event keeping the following in mind:
- You can use the formatting bar to apply bold, italics, underline, switch colors, and insert a hyperlink
- You can tag your event. Tags apply a color to the event and insert a color-coded label below the Event Calendar. Add a new tag by clicking Add. Add an existing tag by selecting it from the Select Tag field and then clicking Add.
TIP: You might use a tag to show that events are taking place at different locations.
- Click OK.
To Modify an Event in Event Calendar
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, select Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page that contains the Event Calendar you want to edit.
- Double-click the Event Calendar.
- Double-click the event you want to modify.
- When finished modifying the event, click OK.
- If you need to modify another event, follow the same steps, if not, Click OK.
To Remove an Event from Event Calendar
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, select Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page that contains the Event Calendar you want to edit.
- Open the Event Calendar by double clicking it.
- Click the X on the event you want to remove.
- Click OK to confirm.
- Click OK again to close the Event Calendar window.
