Adding Pages with Website Builder
With Website Builder, you can add an unlimited number of pages to your website, but you can only publish the number of pages that your plan allows. To specify which pages to publish, you can select the pages when organizing your website.
NOTE: If you have a .mobi domain name, you can only add mobile page layouts; you cannot add traditional page layouts.
To Add a Page to Your website
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Manage menu, select Organize Website .
- Click Add Pages.
- Select which type of page you want to add and its options:
- Blank Page — Adds a page without content.
- Pre-Built Page — Adds a page with content from a pre-built template.
- From the Focus drop-down menu, select a pre-built template category.
- From the Page drop-down menu, select a pre-built page.
- Copy of existing page — Adds a copy of one of your existing pages.
- Select an existing page to copy.
- Click Add Page.
- In the Page Title field, enter a title for the page. For information about page titles, see What is a page title and why do I need one?.
- From the Copy navigation from drop-down menu, select which of your existing pages you want to copy. This option is set to Home Page by default.
- If you do not want the new page added to the Website navigation bar, de-select Include in Website navigation.
- To change the new page's layout, click Change Layout.
NOTE: To add multiple pages, click Add Page again and then complete the fields. Also, you cannot change the layout of Pre-Built pages.
- Click OK.
Note: When the Organize Website page displays, Website Builder completes the rest of the fields on the page. You can edit the following fields or click OK to complete the process.
- If your new page will be your home page, select Make this page the Home Page.
- If you don't want the page to be published, select Do not publish this page.
- In the Navigation Title field, enter the name you want to display on the button that links to this page from other pages.
- In the Browser Title field, enter the title you want to display in the browser's title bar.
- In the Heading Title field, enter the main heading for the page.
- In the Filename field, enter the name you want to save the page as.
- To allow Website Builder to automatically reset the navigation buttons on your website pages to reflect changes you made on the Organize Website page, select Restore default navigation.
NOTE: This will overwrite any settings or subnavigation you may have added from the Edit Navigation page.
- Click OK.
