Deleting Records from Zone Files

From within the Total DNS Control Panel, you can delete records from zone files. If the record you want to delete is also used with other domains, you can delete the record from those domains at the same time.

To Delete Records from Zone Files

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click the domain you want to view.
4. Click the Total DNS Control hyperlink.
5. Select the record(s) you want to delete.
6. Click Delete.
7. In the Delete Records from Domains section, select the domains from which you want to delete the record(s).
8. Click Delete Records.
9. Click OK to confirm you want to delete the record(s).
10. Click OK to close the Status message.
