Disable Secondary DNS

You can disable Secondary DNS for a domain name at any time. If you were using our nameservers as slaves, we move your domain name to the default Premium DNS nameservers and you can easily change its DNS records.

  • Log in to your GoWebsite account.
  • Next to Premium DNS, click Manage.

How you disable secondary DNS will depend on the view of your account.

Card View

In Card View, your account will look something like this:

  1. Select the domain name you want to use, click Text Icon (Settings) and select Manage DNS.
  2. In the Advanced Features section, click Secondary DNS.
  3. Under Enabled, select Off, then click Apply.

List View

In List View, your account will look something like this:

  1. Click the domain name you want to use.
  2. On the Settings tab, under Premium DNS, click Manage under Secondary DNS.
  3. In the Advanced Features section, click Secondary DNS.
  4. Under Enabled, select Off, then click Apply.
