Managing Photo Album Music in Website Tonight

This information applies to Website Tonight accounts purchased after Oct. 26, 2010. To verify the date of your purchase see Accessing your Order History.

With Website Tonight®, you can add music files to slideshows and montages. From the Audio Files screen in Website Tonight, you can also delete files, edit their titles, and play files to make sure they complement your images.

Use the steps below to upload and edit music files in your photo album. Once you've uploaded music files, see Adding Music to Your Photo Slideshow in Website Tonight for information about adding music to a slideshow.

Uploading Music

You can upload music to complement your photo slideshows and montages.

To Upload Music

  1. Log in to your Website Tonight account.
  2. From the Photos and Videos tab, click Upload. The Upload screen displays.
  3. From Step 1: Select file type, select Audio.
  4. From Step 2: Select and upload your audio, click Browse. The explorer window displays.
  5. Select the music file you want to upload, and then click Open. Repeat as necessary.
  6. From Step 2: Select and upload your audio, click Upload.
  7. The file is added to your account.

Editing Music

You can edit the titles of your music files.

To Edit Music

  1. Log in to your Website Tonight account.
  2. From the Photos and Videos tab, go to the Tools menu, and then select Manage Music. The Audio Files screen displays.
  3. Select the file you want to edit, and then click Edit. The Edit Title screen displays.
  4. Enter a new title in the Title field, and then click Save.
  5. The new title displays.

Deleting Music

You can delete the music files you no longer want.

To Delete Music

  1. Log in to your Website Tonight account.
  2. From the Photos and Videos tab, go to the Tools menu, and then select Manage Music. The Audio Files screen displays.
  3. Select the file you want to delete, and then click Delete. The Delete Confirmation screen displays.
  4. Click Save. The file deletes from your account.

Note: You can restore deleted music files from the Recycle Bin until you select them, and then click Restore Selected Items, or click Empty Recycle Bin. Once you do, the files are permanently deleted.

Restoring Music

You can restore music files once you delete them.

To Restore Music

  1. Log in to your Website Tonight account.
  2. Go to the Photos and Videos tab, and then click Recycle Bin.
  3. Select the files you want to restore, and then click Restore Selected Items.

Note: You can restore deleted music files from the Recycle Bin until you select them, and then click Restore Selected Items, or click Empty Recycle Bin. Once you do, the files are permanently deleted.

Playing Music

You can play music files to make sure they complement your images.

To Play Music

  1. Log in to your Website Tonight account.
  2. From the Photos and Videos tab, go to the Tools menu, and then select Manage Music. The Audio Files screen displays.
  3. Select the file you want to play, and then click Play. The file plays.
