Managing Widgets in Website Builder
With Website Builder, you can insert widgets into content blocks to display them on your Web pages. Widgets add functionality and let visitors interact with your website, making them more likely to stay.
Note: To add widgets using Microsoft Internet Explorer® 7, 8, and 9, you must configure your browser to accept third-party cookies. For more information, see Block or allow cookies from Microsoft.
Inserting Widgets
You can add widgets to your content blocks to let visitors interact with your website, making them more likely to stay.
To Insert Widgets
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page where you want to add a widget.
- Click the block where you want to add a widget. Blocks are outlined in blue.
- Position your cursor where you want to insert the widget.
- From the Insert tab, go to the Widgets menu, and then select the widget you want to insert. The Widgets window displays.
- Configure your widget, and then click Get Widget. The widget displays in your content block.
Replacing Widgets
You can easily replace a widget you no longer want with one you do.
To Replace Widgets
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page where you want to add a widget.
- Click the block where you want to add a widget. Blocks are outlined in blue.
- Click the Widget.
- Go to the Options tab, and then click Replace Widget. The Widgets window displays.
- Select a new widget, configure the widget, and then click Get Widget. The widget displays in your content block.
Deleting Widgets
You can easily delete widgets you no longer want to display.
To Delete a Widget
- Log in to your Website Builder account.
- From the Design menu, click Launch Page Designer.
- If necessary, from the Page list, select the page where you want to delete the widget.
- Click the block where you want to delete the widget. Blocks are outlined in blue.
- Click the Widget.
- Press the Delete key. The widget no longer displays in your content block.
