Opening Online Storage as a Web Folder (WebDAV)
Web Folders (WebDAV) let you access your Online Storage account through Microsoft Windows Explorer®. You can move files from your computer to Online Storage, and manage files in your Online Storage account directly within Windows without accessing Online Storage's web-based interface.
To Open Online Storage as a Web Folder
- Right-click on the Start button, and select Explore.
- In the Folders list, click My Network Places.
- Click Add a network place.
- In the Add Network Place Wizard window, click Next.
- Select Choose another network location, and then click Next.
- In the Internet or network address field, type https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/webdav/index.php/your_user_name/, where your_user_name is the user name for your Online Storage account, and then click Next.
- Enter your Online Storage user name and password, and then click OK.
- In the Type a name for this network place field, enter the name you want to use to identify this folder, and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- If prompted, enter your Online Storage user name and password to access the folder.
To access Online Storage as a Web Folder by going to My Network Places in Windows Explorer, and double-click the location you created in the steps above.
