Protecting Your Website Analytics Information in a Wireless Environment
In an unprotected wireless environment (you're logging on to the Internet from a coffee shop, the airport, etc.), your information might be vulnerable to hackers. You can now enable Secure Reporting in Website Analytics to protect your data.
To Protect Your Website Analytics Information
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Site Analytics.
- Next to the account you want to use, click Launch.
- Click the domain name you want to use.
- Click Settings, and then click General.
- Click Secure Mode, and then select Enable secure (SSL) reports.
- Click Save.
By enabling secure reporting, no one can intercept or tamper with your data.
