Syncing your server password will update the login credentials on file for the server in your customer account. This does not reset your password for your server. This function will sync your server passwords with your login information on your account for verification purposes only.

Note: The purpose of syncing your server user name and password is to securely provide our technicians with the correct login credentials for your server in the event that this information has become outdated.
If our technical support team is requesting that a password sync be performed, it is typically in the event that they are unable to log in to the server using SSH (for Linux Servers) or Remote Desktop (for Windows Servers). Here are some common things to avoid when performing a password sync:
