Using the Hosting Control Center Web-Based Java FTP Client
NOTE: The FTP File Manager is the preferred FTP application in the Hosting Control Center. For more information, see Uploading Files Using the FTP File Manager.
While you should be able to upload and download simple files without a problem, the Java FTP Client is not designed for transferring large amounts of data. If you need to transfer a lot of files, use a standard FTP client. For more information, see articles relating to the FTP File Manager.
To Use the Hosting Control Center Web-based Java FTP Client
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click the green Launch button.
- In the Tools section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Java FTP Client icon.
- If a security certificate window displays, click Yes or Allow to accept the certificate and open the FTP program.
Where can I find my website's files?
The Java FTP Client opens up the root of your computer on the Local System side. You can get to the more commonly-used areas of your computer by going to: Users > your user name > Desktop
Your website's files should have an index file listed in their contents. Usually this is index.html

To Upload Files to Your Hosting Account
