Using Your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores

You can apply for a Intuit® Merchant Service for Web Stores account from the Payment Manager page in Quick Shopping Cart®, if the link is available. You must have a Deluxe or Premium Quick Shopping Cart account for the link to be available. If there is not a link to the Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores, you can use a different payment gateway. Enabling Your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores

After you create your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores account, follow these steps to enable your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores to use with your Quick Shopping Cart.

To Enable your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. In the Quick Shopping Cart list, click Launch next to the account you want to modify.
  4. From Set Up, in the Operations section, select Payment Options.
  5. From Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores, click Enable.
  6. In the Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Configuration screen, under Account Management, click Go to Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores.
  7. Log in to your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores account.
  8. In the Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Connection List screen, click Create New Connection.
  9. In the Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Connection Setup screen, verify that Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores is creating a ticket for Quick Shopping Cart, and then click Continue.
  10. In the Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Connection Name screen, create a connection name and then click Continue.
  11. Click View Connection List.
  12. Select the Connection Name you created, and then click Use this Connection.
  13. Click Close to close the browser window.

Configuring Your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Account

After you enable your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores account in Quick Shopping Cart, follow these steps to configure it for your store.

To Configure your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores

  1. In the Quick Shopping Cart Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Configuration screen, under Account Management, click Verify to check that your Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Connection is active.
  2. In the Quick Shopping Cart Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores Configuration screen, select the payment card types that your store accepts.
  3. If your store sells downloadable products, select when you want the download to be made available:
    Pre-Authorization
    Download is available after the customer's card has been pre-authorized, but before you have received payment.
    Authorization
    Download is available after you have received payment.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Publish.
  6. Click Start Publish to publish the change to Intuit Merchant Service for Web Stores.
