What do I do if the recipient did not receive the fax I sent using Fax Thru Email?
The most common cause for a Fax Thru Email recipient not receiving a fax when it was successfully transmitted is that the fax number was incorrect. That means your fax transmitted, but it went to an unknown recipient.
Fax transmissions are successful when the receiving end answers, and that fax machine confirms receipt. If a recipient claims they didn't receive a fax, check the recipient's fax number, and then try again.
There are no charges for faxes that were not transmitted or received. Pages are only deducted if the fax transmission was successful.
Other Possible Issues
- Invalid email address
- If the account email address associated with your account is invalid, you will not be able to use Fax Thru Email. If you use the remote faxing feature to send fax messages, the "From" email address must be the same as your Fax Thru Email account email address.
- Insufficient account pages
- When you exceed the monthly pages allotted to your plan, both incoming and outgoing fax messages are not processed. You can purchase packs of additional pages, and then apply them to your monthly plan.
