About .NRW Domain Names
This domain name extension renews at the tier it is registered. For example, if you register a domain for $100, the cost to renew it each year will be $100.
The .nrw domain extension represents the German North Rhine-Westphalia area, the economic and industrial center of the country. All .nrw domains will come to represent a virtual proxy for the North Rhine-Westphalia community and enhance networking and marketing capabilities within that region.

Beginning March 24, 2015 at 10:00 UTC, customers can register .nrw domain names on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who can register .nrw domain names?
To register a .nrw domain name, you are required to have a postal code within the North Rhine-Westphalia region.
These domain names can have up to 63 characters, with a minimum of 3 characters, and can contain letters (a to z), numbers (0 to 9), and hyphens (except as the first or last characters of the domain name). You cannot register domain names with special characters such as & and #. The .nrw domain supports IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) in the following language: German.

For how long can I register .nrw domain names?
You can register a .nrw domain name for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 10 years.
When do .nrw domain names renew?
This domain name extension renews at the same cost (tier) it is registered. For example, if you register a domain name for $100, the cost to renew it for each additional year will be $100.
We'll attempt to auto-renew your .nrw domain name on its expiration date. We will park .nrw domain names after the first failed billing attempt. If the domain name isn't renewed within 40 days following expiration, the domain name will be cancelled and removed from your account.
Can I transfer .nrw domain names to my account with you?
