Accessing Online Storage Using an FTP Client

You can access your Online Storage account from a remote location using an FTP client. Some common FTP clients are:

• FileZilla
• SmartFTP
• Fetch (Mac)
• gFTP (Linux)
• Acronis Image Server

Once you download the FTP client you want to use, you can connect to Online Storage and manage your files and folders. You need the following information:

FTP User Name

The user name, or email address associated to your Online Storage account.

FTP Password

The password for your Online Storage account.

To Connect to Online Storage

1. Open the FTP Client.
2. In the menu bar at the top, type www.onlinefilefolder.com.
3. Enter your Online Storage user name and password.
4. Click Enter.

When connected to your Online Storage, the folder structure displays in one pane of your window.

Online Storage supports active and passive mode for FTP. Extended passive mode is not supported.
