Managing Colors in Quick Blogcast
The Quick Blogcast® color picker lets you change the appearance of your blog by selecting the exact colors you want to use. You can change the colors of both fonts and backgrounds in your blog.
To Set Colors for Your Blog
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Quick Blogcast.
- In the Quick Blogcast Account list, click Launch next to the account you want to modify.
- From the Design menu, select Customize Template.
- Select the Colors tab.
- From the Select Element list, select the element you want to set the color for:
- Body — The color for the main part, or body, of your blog
- Header — The color for the header of your blog
- Footer — The color for the footer of your blog
- Navigation Link — The color for links in your blog's navigation menu
- Navigation Link Visited — The color for links in your blog's navigation menu after a visitor clicks them
- Navigation Link Hover — The color for links in your blog's navigation menu when a visitor hovers the cursor over them
- Link — The color for links in the body of your blog
- Link Visited — The color for links in the body of your blog after a visitor clicks them
- Link Hover — The color for links in the body of your blog when a visitor hovers the cursor over them
- Select one of the following:
- Font/Foreground — To modify the font or foreground color for the element you selected
- Background — To modify the background color for the element you selected
NOTE: Depending on the template or element you selected, this option might not be available.
- In the Select Color section, use the slider to display different colors, and then select the color you want to use. The color picker displays the range for the color you selected.
NOTE: You can also select the colors available in the Recent Selections or Template Colors sections, or you can enter a Hex value.
- To make the color lighter or darker, select the shade you want in the color picker. The new color displays.
- Select Font Style, and then select the font you'd like to use.

- Select Font Size, and then select the font size you'd like to use.

- Repeat steps 6-11 for each element you want to modify.
- To preview your changes, click Apply Changes/Update Preview.
- To publish your changes, click Save.
