Configuring Your Domain to Work with Tumblr

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, select Domain Manager.
3. Click on the domain name itself which you want to point to Tumblr.
4. From beneath the Total DNS menu, click Total DNS Control.
5. Click Edit for your primary A record, which is labeled "@."
6. Change the Points To Ip Address: to 72.32.231.8
7. Click OK.
8. Log in to your Tumblr account.
9. Click Customize from the Dashboard.
10. From the Info menu, check Use a custom domain name, do not use "http://www." so the domain should appear as "coolexample.com" where coolexample.com would be replaced with your domain name.
11. Press the Return key to save the changes.

It may take 24-72 hours for the domain's settings to propagate.
