Creating a Subdomain and Forwarding It to an IP Address
Subdomains are extensions of your own domain name(s) you can forward to URLs or point to IP addresses and directories in your hosting account. For example, if your domain name is example.com, you can create subdomain.example.com, a subdomain resolving to a specific website residing in a subdirectory of your hosting account.
You can add multiple levels of subdomains. For example, you can create another.subdomain.example.com. Subdomains can be up to 25 characters long.
Note: These instructions are for using the Zone File Editor to create a subdomain that points to a specific IP address. To create a subdomain that forwards to a separate URL, see Creating and Forwarding a Subdomain.
