Connecting via SSH to Your Linux Account

After downloading and installing one of these clients, use the following settings to connect via SSH:

Field What to enter...
Host Name or IP Address Your account's domain name or IP address (Shared Hosting/Server)
Port 22
Username Your account's username (Shared Hosting/Server)
Password Your account's password (Shared Hosting/Server)

NOTE: Once you have entered the host name or IP address and the port, open the connection. Once connected, you will be prompted for the user name and password.
