Mapping Your Domain to Squarespace

To configure Squarespace to work with your domain, you need to update your www CNAME and your @ A record.

To Configure Squarespace for Your Domain

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click the domain you want to use with your Squarespace account.
4. In the Domain Information area, click Total DNS Control.
5. In the A (Host) area, for the @ record, click Edit from the Actions column.
6. In the Points To Ip Address field, type 65.39.205.54.
7. Click OK.
8. In the CNAMES (Aliases) section, for the www CNAME, click Edit from the Actions column.
9. Click OK to continue and type www.squarespace.com into the Points to Host Name field.
10. Click OK.

NOTE: It can take 24-48 hours for the Internet to recognize these changes.

Once finished, log in to your Squarespace Website manager and check your set up. From the Custom Domain tab, click the check setup link.
