Deleting Subdomains

Here's the Lowdown: Forwarded subdomains can be deleted through the Forward Subdomains section of the Domain Manager Detail screen. Subdomains that are not forwarded are deleted through the Total DNS section of the Domain Manager Detail screen.

You can delete subdomains and subdomain forwarding from the Domain Manager.

To Delete a Forwarded Subdomain

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click the domain name you want to edit.
4. In the Forward Subdomains section, click edit.
5. Click Remove and, then click OK twice.

To Delete a Non-Forwarded Subdomain

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click the domain name you want to edit.
4. In the Total DNS section, click Total DNS Control.
5. In the A (Host) section, click delete ('X') for the subdomain you want to delete, and then click OK twice.
