Editing Subdomains

Here's the Lowdown: Forwarded domains can be edited through the Subdomains section of the Domain Manager. Subdomains that are not forwarded are edited through the Total DNS section of the Domain Manager.

If you added subdomains or subdomain forwarding, you can edit the subdomain to change the forwarding URL or the IP address it points to.

Note: The subdomain value entered may include '.' but not as the first or last character. Consecutive periods, '..', are not allowed. The entire value cannot exceed 25 characters.

To Edit a Forwarded Subdomain

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click the domain you want to edit.
4. In the Subdomain area, click edit.
5. Edit your subdomain information as necessary, and then click OK.

To Edit a Non-Forwarded Subdomain

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click the domain you want to edit.
4. In the Total DNS section, click Total DNS Control.
5. In the A (Host) section, click the pencil icon to the right of the subdomain you want to edit.
6. Edit the subdomain information as necessary, and then click OK twice.
