Edit My Own Host Names

If you set up your own host names as nameservers, you can edit them as well as add or edit their corresponding IP addresses.

If there are domain names currently pointed to these host names, you can't remove them. Further, changes you make to host names can affect how those domains function. Be cautious and verify your settings before saving changes.

  1. Log in to your GoWebsite account.
  2. Next to Domains, click Manage.

How you edit your host names will depend on the view of your account.

Card View

In Card View, your account will look something like this:

  1. Select the domain name you want to use, click Text Icon (Settings) and select Manage DNS.
  2. Under the Advanced Features section, click Host names.
  3. Next to the host name you want to edit, click the pencil icon.

List View

In List View, your account will look something like this:

  1. Click the domain name you want to edit.
  2. Click on the Settings tab.
  3. Next to Host Names, click Manage.
  4. Make any changes you want, click Edit, then click Save.

Host name changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate. Hosting or other domain name features might not work during the propagation period.
