Managing Music Files in Photo Album

You can upload music files to Photo Album to add to slideshows and montages. From the Audio Files page in Photo Album, you can also delete files, edit their titles, and play files to make sure they complement your images.

Music you upload to Photo Album is also available in your Website Builder account, if you have one.

Uploading Music

You can add music to complement your slideshows and montages.

To Upload Music

  1. Log in to your Photo Album account.
  2. Click Upload. The Upload page displays.
  3. From Step 1: Select file type, select Audio.
  4. From Step 2: Select and upload your audio, click Browse. The explorer window displays.
  5. Select the music file you want to upload, and then click Open. Repeat as necessary.
  6. From Step 2: Select and upload your audio, click Upload.
  7. The file is added to your account.

Editing Music

You can edit the titles of your music files.

To Edit Music

  1. Log in to your Photo Album account.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Manage Music. The Audio Files page displays.
  3. Select the file you want to edit, and then click Edit. The Edit Title page displays.
  4. Enter a new title in the Title field, and then click Save.
  5. The new title displays with the file you selected.

Deleting Music

You can delete the music files you no longer want.

To Delete Music

  1. Log in to your Photo Album account.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Manage Music. The Audio Files page displays.
  3. Select the file you want to delete, and then click Delete. The Delete Confirmation page displays.
  4. Click Save. The file is deleted from your account.

Note: You can restore deleted music files even if you put them in the the Recycle Bin. To delete them forever, select the files, and then click Empty Recycle Bin. Once you do, the files are permanently deleted.

Restoring Music

You can restore music files once you delete them.

To Restore Music

  1. Log in to your Photo Album account.
  2. Click Recycle Bin.
  3. Select the files you want to restore, and then click Restore Selected Items.

Note: You can restore deleted music files even if you put them in the the Recycle Bin. To delete them forever, select the files, and then click Empty Recycle Bin. Once you do, the files are permanently deleted.

Playing Music

You can play music files to make sure they complement your images.

To Play Music

  1. Log in to your Photo Album account.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Manage Music. The Audio Files page displays.
  3. Select the file you want to play, and then click Play. The file plays.
