Publishing with Website Tonight
With Website Tonight®, when you publish your website for the first time, you publish all of your pages. If you've already published your website, you can select to publish only updated pages.
When you publish your Website, you can select to submit your Web pages to Google® with Google Webmaster Tools. It submits your Web pages to the Google index, which determines their relevance when people search the Internet.
You can get detailed reports about the visibility of your pages on Google, Websitemap details, and statistical information about your website. For more information, see Configuring Google Webmaster Tools for Website Tonight.
Note: Due to propagation, it can take 24 to 48 hours for your website to display on the Internet. Domain propagation is the period of time required to notify domain name servers worldwide. The amount of time for propagation varies depending on your Internet service provider.
Publishing Your Website
With Website Tonight, it only takes a few clicks to put up your Website live on the Internet.
To Publish Your Website
- Log in to your Website Tonight account.
- From the Manage menu, select Publish.
- Optional: To create a Google Webmaster Tools account, select that you accept Google's terms of service.
- To publish your entire website, click Publish All. If this is your first time publishing your website, Publish All is your only option.
- To publish only pages you updated, click Publish Updates.
Due to propagation, it can take 24 to 48 hours for your website to display on the Internet.
Note: If you experience issues publishing your website, wait 10 minutes and try republishing.
Publishing Selected Pages
With Website Tonight, you can publish selected pages of your website.
To Publish Selected Pages
- Log in to your Website Tonight account.
- From the Manage menu, select Publish Selected Pages.
- Select the pages you want, and then click Publish Selected Pages.
- Optional: To create a Google Webmaster Tools account, select that you accept Google's terms of service.
Due to propagation, it can take 24 to 48 hours for your website to display on the Internet.
Viewing Your Publishing History
Website Tonight lets you view your publishing history.
To View Your Publishing History
- Log in to your Website Tonight account.
- From the Manage menu, click Publish History.

- Log in to your Website Tonight account.
- From the Manage menu, click Publish History.
- Click the View publish log button for the log file you want to view. The View publish log button is located in the Log column of the list.
