Retrieving Your CIRA Account Information for .ca Domain Names

If you forgot your CIRA account information, CIRA can email it to the administrative contact listed for the .ca domain name. You can submit a request through the Domain Manager or through CIRA's website at https://registrants.cira.ca/user.

To Retrieve Your CIRA Registrant Account Information Through the Domain Manager

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Click Preset Profiles.
4. Click the .ca profile.
5. Click the .ca domain name.
6. Click Retrieve Account Information.

CIRA emails the account information to the administrative contact associated with the domain name.

To Reset the CIRA Registrant Account Password

CIRA issues new passwords for CIRA registrant accounts. You can request that your CIRA registrant account's password be changed by contacting our support department and they will submit the request for you.

NOTE: CIRA issues the new password. You cannot specify the new password you want.

CIRA emails the new password to the email address of the administrative contact. It might take a few days to be sent.
