Trade a .EU Domain with an Account Change

The process for trades (registrant contact updates) is unique for .eu domain names EURid charges a trade fee, prior to the update, regardless of whether the domain name is changing accounts.

Use the information below to process trades with account changes. You can also refer to Change contact information and Move a domain to another GoWebsite account.

To Trade a .eu Domain Name After an Account Change

• Log in to your GoWebsite account.
• Next to Domains, click Manage.

How you trade a .eu domain will depend on the view of your account.

Card View

In Card View, your account will look something like this:

1. Select the domain name you want to use, click (Settings) and select Domain Settings.
2. Under Additional Settings, click Transfer domain to another GoWebsite account.
3. Enter the recipient's email address, account information, domain contact information, and nameserver settings, and click Next.
4. Continue filling out the necessary information depending on the account information you have, and click Next.
5. Check the box under Change of contact info agreements and click Finish.
6. We send the transaction ID and security code to the gaining customer's email address on file with us.
7. The gaining registrant logs in, clicks Accept an Account Change, and enters the codes.
8. The gaining customer pays the fee for the change of registrant.

List View

In List View, your account will look something like this:

1. Select the domain name you want to use, and from the More menu, select Begin account change.



2. Enter the recipient's email address, account information, domain contact information, and nameserver settings, and click Next.
3. Continue filling out the necessary information depending on the account information you have, and click Next.
4. Check the box under Change of contact info agreements and click Finish.
5. We send the transaction ID and security code to the gaining customer's email address on file with us.
6. The gaining registrant logs in, clicks Accept an Account Change, and enters the codes.
7. The gaining customer pays the fee for the change of registrant.
