What Are Your ColdFusion Variable Settings?

ColdFusion default and maximum memory variables have been set to 20 minutes for session variables, and 2 days for application variables.

On ColdFusion 8 running Windows® IIS 7:

• Cookies are the default storage mechanism for client session variables.
• Client session variables are purged after 1 hour 7 minutes.

NOTE: You can use an Application.cfm page to change your Web application variable settings.
