Managing Blogroll Hyperlinks with Quick Blogcast

You can add a blogroll widget to your Quick Blogcast® sidebar. A blogroll is a list of hyperlinks to other blogs or websites. After you add a blogroll, you can add new hyperlinks to it, edit or delete existing hyperlinks, or change the status of existing hyperlinks.

To Add Hyperlinks to Your Blogroll

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Quick Blogcast.
3. Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
4. From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
5. In the Active Widgets list, click (Edit Widget) for the blogroll widget you want to add hyperlinks to.
6. Click Add.
7. Complete the following fields:
   • Link Text — Enter the text you want to display for the hyperlink.
   • URL — Enter the URL of the blog or Website you're linking to.
   • (Optional) Description — Enter a description of the website. The description displays at the top of the page when you move your cursor over the hyperlink.
   • Rank — Enter a number to specify the order in which you want the hyperlink to display in the blogroll. If you rank two items with the same number, the links display in alphabetical order.
   • Status — Select Active or Inactive. An active hyperlink displays in the blogroll. Making a hyperlink inactive does not delete it. You can change an inactive hyperlink's status to active at a later time.
8. Click Save. The hyperlink displays in a table. Click Save again, and once more in the bottom-left of the Sidebar Widgets page.

NOTE: From the Actions column, you can quickly activate, inactive, or delete a hyperlink.

9. Click Save.

To Edit a Hyperlink in the Blogroll

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Quick Blogcast.
3. Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
4. From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
5. Click (Edit Widget) for the blogroll widget you want to edit the hyperlinks in. A table of your hyperlinks displays.
6. In the Link Text column, click the hyperlink you want to edit.
7. Edit the information.
8. Click Save.
9. Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).

To Delete a Hyperlink in the Blogroll

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Quick Blogcast.
3. Click Launch next to the blog account you want to modify.
4. From the Design menu, select Sidebar Widgets.
5. Click (Edit Widget) for the blogroll widget you want to delete a hyperlink from. A table of your hyperlinks displays.
6. In the Actions column, click (Delete link) for the hyperlink you want to delete.

   NOTE: If you think you might use the link at a later time, you can deactivate it instead by clicking (Change link's status). You can activate it at a later time by clicking (Change link's status).

7. Click Save.
8. Click Save (in the bottom-right of the Sidebar Widgets page).
